While the Evolution golf cart’s touchscreen and sound system are great features, we often hear one common question from customers: "How can I make the sound system even better?"

To answer that, we’ve developed the Plug N Play Audio Upgrade Kit, designed to:

The best part? The Plug N Play Kit doesn’t change how you control your audio system. You’ll still use your touchscreen and buttons exactly as you did before, but now your Bluetooth, radio, and USB audio will have more bass, clearer highs, and three times the volume of the factory system.

Touchscreen Version vs Bluetooth Version

• Touchscreen Version: This version connects the amplifier to your touchscreen, allowing all of the original audio functions (Bluetooth, radio, microphone, USB audio/video) to work, but with significantly louder sound. Expect some audio interference, such as feedback, popping, or hissing, because the touchscreen’s audio signal isn’t very clean.

• Bluetooth Version: For the best audio quality and volume, we recommend the Bluetooth version, which works with both Plus and Pro Evolution models. In this version, the Bluetooth receiver bypasses the touchscreen entirely, providing a clean audio signal directly from your phone. This allows the amp to run at full power, resulting in sound that is twice as clearand twice as loud as the Touchscreen version. If you choose the Bluetooth option, however, you will lose the radio, microphone, and USB audio/video functions. The system will exclusively operate via Bluetooth from your phone.

If you’re looking for the best possible sound, we highly recommend the Bluetooth version. However, please note that this will disable all audio functions on the screen (radio, microphone, USB audio/video), and your system will be Bluetooth-only.

Speakers vs No Speakers

You can opt for the Plug N Play Kit without upgraded speakers, but we strongly recommend pairing it with aftermarket speakers to fully benefit from the improved audio. The upgraded amp provides more wattage and a cleaner signal, but if the speakers can't handle that power, the performance won't reach its potential.

The factory speakers aren't coaxial speakers and lack tweeters, which means they won’t produce the same level of sound quality or volume. The Memphis MXA60L speakers included in our kit are high-quality marine speakers that can deliver three times the output of the factory speakers, with much cleaner sound.

Note: These Memphis speakers come with an LED ring that isn’t installed by default but can be added if you'd like. To install the LEDs, you will need to wire the ring to your LED controller. If you’re interested in a plug-and-play LED option, consider our SVR2 or GLD4 packages. We do not provide instructions for wiring the Memphis LED rings, as it is complex to explain via phone, email, or text.
